Ryujinx is a free and open-source video game console emulator for Nintendo Switch that runs on Windows and Linux computers. Ryujinx is very well known for its user-friendliness, impressive accuracy, and high performance. It was first started in November of 2017 although its initial version was firstly publicized on 5th February 2018 in GitHub. Back then, it could run only one game: Puyo Puyo Tetris at 15FPS.
What makes Ryujinx unique, compared to the other ones, is that it was written in C# while most of the other emulators were developed using C++. This makes it faster than other available Nintendo Switch emulators. There is yet a lot of work to get done including updates and enhancements. This project is nearly 2 years old and is believed by the Nintendo Switch gaming community to be one of the most ambitious Nintendo Switch emulator projects to date.
