Abendrot is a free, open-source Mac screen warmer that cuts nighttime blue light. It warms every display around your local sunset so your evenings aren't lit up like daytime. This is a science backed application that takes a different and more optimal approach than f.lux or Night Shift. At night, you need to reduce your blue light exposure. Abendrot targets the root cause of sleep disruption by minimizing the specific short-wavelength, melanopic light (blue/cyan) that tricks your body clock into thinking it's still daytime. Features: - Per-display warmth, including external monitors and buttonless Apple displays - Everyday warmth down to 1900 K, with an optional near-red Cozy mode - Automatic, screen tint, and hardware (DDC) methods with a visible badge per display - Reveal True Color hotkey when you need accurate color for a moment - Menu bar app with a scriptable CLI - No account, no telemetry - MIT license, free Website: https://abendrot.app GitHub: https://github.com/matthewrball/abendrot Download: https://github.com/matthewrball/abendrot/releases/download/v1.0.8/Abendrot-1.0.8.dmg
