Sprachus is designed for blind and visual impaired students for learning foreign languages.
Learned words and sentences can be typed from a keyboard or only heard and remembered.
Especially useful features for learners are spelling words and prints the texts on the screen for students with low vision 20/200. The form of the person: formal, informal or singular, plural is also indicated by the sound of the bell.
It has been included language packets for learning: German, Polish or English.
Sprachus has been adapted to work together with the following screen readers: JAWS, NVDA, Window eyes, Narrator. The presents of the screen reader is indicated in the right top corner. Sprachus can also speak using the screan readers' voice. Other screen readers may also be supported using compatibility settings in the options menu.
Program has the following compatibility features:
-Print text on the screen. To prevent a screen reader from reading unnecessary things. Instead of the printing text, rectangles are drawn.
-Speaking keys. To prevent from reading two times the pressed keys.
-Special windows keys on the keybord can also be disabled. To prevent from being accidentally pressed.
